My first fitting
When I walked into PGA Tour Superstore in Toyosaki on July 2, 2026, I had never swung a golf club. I had no background in the game and no expectations. I asked for a fitting anyway.
There was no charge and no appointment. Working across a language barrier took some patience, but we managed, and I left with a report on my swing and a list of clubs suited to it.
I chose my clubs from that report. At my first lesson, my instructor was delighted with what I had picked, and I believe that starting with clubs that fit me has helped me improve faster than I otherwise would have.
